A YEAR ON

It has been just over a year since I posted my last log and a heck of a lot has happened since then for me.

For one, there was the breakup with my long term girlfriend, and also the getting of my new girlfriend.

I am now in university studying journalism but still spreading the message of the BDS and the BDM. Got many people into it.

What do I want to see this year? I think it's gonna be the same as all of you, relighting the firefly.

Hi, I'm 19 years old and a huge huge Firefly and Serenity fan. Obviously. I enjoy writing fiction and poetry and am yet to submit fanfic for you good folks to see but it will come someday. The thing that draws me to Firefly more than anything else is the characters, as I'm sure is the case for many other browncoats. I adore the mixture of personalities portrayed in this epic series (and film). What other aspect intrigues me is the mixture of cultures. I am a huge fan of oriental culture and the way it merges the two together is fantastic and is shown lovingly in the musical score.
My girlfriend Natalie is a great influence in my life next to Firefly and supports me in everything I do. She, like me, is a huge Whedon fan and Fillion fan and I've recently got her into Firefly.
I am ever attracting new followers of Firefly with a new addition, my step mother who I showed Serenity to and she is eager to watch the series. Many of my friends are now Browncoats and it is ever growing.
I also have the RPG (I'm a full on uber geek), the visual companion (which I highly recommend), the one off magazine, the full set of trading cards, and oh yes Adam Baldwin's autograph. Wooo!! I talk too much.
