So the Buffy scribes (Drew Goddard, Drew Z. Greenberg, Rebecca Rand Kirschner & Jane Espenson) all showed up at The Bronze and posted a bunch of messages on Cassie Newton and her website ( http://www.cassienewton.com ). It's suggested that we all visit her site before watching the next Buffy episode.

I'm still trying to catch up on the TV world after being absent from it for a few days, can someone fill me in?

Other than that, I really wish the Firefly writers would visit us sometimes and answer a question or two.

Cassie Newton is a girl Buffy tries to help in the episode, aptly named "Help".. :)

Not exactly the best ep of the year, but it isn't sooo bad... A bit 'Reptile Girlish'...

Who in the world is Drew Goddard? He's writing Selfless, I believe... I think that might be his first Buffy project.

Though, I'm not sure... just who is that masked man? (well... not so masked...)

My guess, from Rebecca's statements, is that Cassie Newton is based on a person she knew who died. She kept mentioning that it was a tribute... so, I'm thinking it's a tribute to the REAL Cassie, whomever that may be.
