1) Present day commercial movie theaters are neither as comfortable nor as sumptuous as once was.
2) Home viewing has superior audio, video, and convenience. The price is right, too: FREE!
Mix those together makes a slow poison killing Hollywood blockbuster ticket sales.
When the next super success blockbuster arrives, I will be watching at home for free rather than at a movie theater seven mile drive on Highway 146. I won't be sitting with a hundred ill-behaved offspring and eating overpriced popcorn at Showbiz Cinema in Baytown. And there won't be any advertisements.

I was doing my best to be conservative with my second week predictions on this one, so it appears that Bruce is giving it even less of a chance on Weekend 2 than I did. He predicts a 65% drop to only $30 Million even. My number above of $10-$12 million (as long as it didn't crash and burn) may have been a tad too high if Bruce ends up being right.
I've heard numbers from -50% to -70% from weekend 1.
Yellow Flash predicted it wouldn't make $200 Million in the US after the initial 1st weekend numbers were in. If it can't get $30 Million this weekend that's almost certainly going to be the case with less than $145 Million.
I wonder how the international weekend will turn out.

In the mind of a Trumptard, Hollywood movies only fail at the box office when blacks have leading roles or the movie is too "Woke", which is Trumptard terminology for movies that do not appeal to angry poor white trash who are racists or hate women or hate that smart people might secretly know Trumptards are evil/Nazis/retards who have wasted their lives with alcohol, tobacco, drugs, sex, or various depraved behavior in private. 6ix, as a Trumptard, you hate this movie because black man Anthony Mackie has been cast as Captain America rather than white man Chris Evans. Trump and Elon Musk are a pair of outrageous racists pretending their anti-DEI program (diversity, equity, and inclusion) is not about "White men cannot get a job because black men took all the good, well paid jobs." Being the actor playing Captain America is one of those well-paid jobs which 6ix is infuriated that a white man wasn't in the role.
I know why Trump and Musk act they way they do: Trump is still pissed off that Obama was President for 8 years and told jokes about Trump being a fat lying sack of shit. The drop will be at least as hard as Bruce was expecting with -65% on 2nd weekend, and the outliers who were claiming a -70% to -75% drop could end up being right.
Disney must have run out of money to keep buying up a bunch of empty theater seats to try to get people to think this is something they needed to run out and see for FOMO.
Somebody should look into it and find out how much money USAID was paying them to put out and support their propaganda.

Nobody pays to see woke trash in the theaters.
Nobody watches woke trash in the comfort of their own homes either.
Nobody cares about the boring, perfect, self-inserts passing off as characters in their boring, uninteresting stories where the protagonist never learns any lessons or even faces any adversity because they were already perfect without putting any effort into anything and it's the rest of the world that needs to change for them.
All of these people will be out of a job if they weren't already fired. This little experiment is over and it was a miserable failure.
