CCTV footage shows a Dallas Police officer engaging an armed woman who opened fire inside the Love Field Airport on Jul. 25, 2022.
According to the reports and the footage, 37-year-old Portia Odufuwa arrived at the airport in an Uber, went inside the restroom, and then went to a ticketing area where she was heard incoherently speaking. She then produced a pistol from her pocket and fired into the ceiling. She also fired her pistol toward an officer an civilian caught in the crossfire.
Within seconds of Odufuwa's first shots, Officer Ronald Cronin engaged with his service pistol striking her multiple times and neutralizing the situation. Odufuwa was taken to a hospital and treated for her injuries. No other people were injured in the incident. The motive for her actions isn't clear at this time.
