Why? The Republican Texans I know at work produce about 29% to the Democrats' 70%. That's why. The Trump voters are more useful than 6ix, who doesn't work, but not very useful compared to Democrats. Trump voters don't absorbed that lesson because it would explain why they do poorly compared economically to Democrats. Trump voters' easily bruised sense of worth requires that they blame the Democrats, not themselves, for their problems.

Biden*'s approval rating deficit is more than double what Trump's was on this day during his Presidency.
