And remember... Insidious was neck and neck with SoF all the way up until a few weeks ago, making a 1,163% return on a $16 Million investment.
And the reigning queen so far this year isn't Barbie and her $145 Million Production budget and $150 Million Marketing budget.
It's M3GAN and her $12 Million budget.
M3GAN's worldwide gross is 1,475% of the Production budget. And unless we see some other breakout film in the last 3 months of the year, the only movie that has a chance of dethroning her in 2023 is Sound of Freedom, depending on whether or not enough people outside of the US go to see it and if it can make another $32 Million at the Box Office before it's retired.

Well... of course SJW culture wants to continue.
It's not economically feasable anymore though.
Snow White all happened before the writer's strike, the associated actor's strike, and any talk at all of AI taking over jobs of writers, and movie/games journalists.
So did Robyn Hood.
You need to fully expect that at least some of these movies and TV shows aren't going to just get buried or thrown directly to streaming in an attempt to make some of the money back.
But the hard truth is, the time of that shit being made with insane production budgets has come to an end.
And, TBH, a lot of those channels like Geeks and Gamers (and their clones) had better be able to quickly pivot to something else to talk about when that happens. I think The Quartering, Dave Cullen and The Critical Drinker are among the few that aren't going to have trouble weathering it because either they have good personalities and/or they have a wider variety of topics they're knowledgeable about and/or they've successfully expanded their brand to outside revenue and/or they bring meaningful insight to the topics they discuss.
But the channels like Geeks and Gamers, Ryan Kinnel (RK Outpost), Nerdrotic, and HeelvsBabyface who deal in nothing but outrage culture are going to be in real trouble when woke Hollywood/Gaming dies, because not only do they not have much going for them outside of the outrage culture, but I don't particularly think any of them have good personalities and would never have even been able to get people to watch them if Hollywood, the Comic Book Industry and the Gaming industry hadn't been such shit for such a long time.
And don't even get me started on Doomcock. That dude has had his "Hollywood Spies" telling us for 4 years that this time Kathleen Kennedy is out the door for reals this time. Sure... he's right about some things from time to time, but when you peddle in nothing but rumors eventually you're going to be right in a few of your predictions. You can only ruin your own integrity with that game so long before people just tune out. His videos are WAY too long too.
That's a problem that Clownfish TV shares as well. Though I think they've got great personality and they are insulated from some of this because they have things going on outside of their YT channels, any one of the topics they ever discuss are discussed by a dozen other channels that get right to the point instead of talking about it for 35 minutes at a time. The rule for YouTube is to make your videos just slightly longer than 10 minutes long to maximize the ad revenue. Clownfish TV needs to do their best going forward keeping the banter down and striving for 10 minute videos or 15 minutes maximum. Not everybody needs to be the same, but CFTV can keep being themselves without making their videos so long. I find myself just skipping them altogether recently, and when I do click on one of their videos I'm just skipping around to the next article they're talking about because I just get bored watching them most of the time.
And honestly... Once woke Hollywood/Comics/Gaming dies, I think a lot of these channels SHOULD die with it. What would be the point of their existence anymore?
They would have to actively FIND and even CREATE controversy.
That's what the LEFT has done for the last 10 years. It won all the social battles it was claiming to fight years ago, with the last being legal marriage for gay people during the Obama administration.
The people who rose to power off of these issues didn't want to lose that power after they won. When I wrote my last post here 4 days ago, I had to look up HeelvsBabyface to remember his channel's name. He's the worst of the bunch that I mentioned, IMO.
All the sudden he's blown up for his reaction on livestream for losing his shit when some new Sci-Fi video game by Bethesda asks you what your pronouns are.
Shame. I used to love Bethesda. I probably won't ever be playing any of their new games again.

HeelvsBabyface or Az is a British commentary, reviewer and gaming YouTuber. Prior to becoming a YouTuber he worked in marketing. His initial videos were mostly to do with World of Warcraft.

The name HeelvsBabyface was inspired by wrestling terminology with the "heel" referencing a bad guy while a "babyface" represents a good guy. Because his commentary deals with both good things and bad things and also because Az self describes as "an opinionated twat" the name was thought appropriate for his channel

My problem with H is that he's the poster child for every negative stereotype that the Leftists are always rambling on about.
He's a neckbeard and he's not good looking, both of which are easy targets for people like Nilbog who would dismiss the guy in 2 seconds of watching his horrible, hateful takes on anything perceived as "left wing" as being a woman-hating, racist incel. And to make things worse, I wouldn't even argue her on that point. His mere existence just sets the entire anti-woke movement back and gives trash people on the Left like Hasan and Vaush an ultra-negative face to the Rationality Movement that is easily mocked and ridiculed and ends up being a major net-negative to the conversation.
His YT channel is lazy and copies other good content creators while just layering his stereotypical ugly neckbeard manufactured outrage on top of it while losing any of the nuance and thoughtfulness of his betters. He's not wrong with his self-assessment. He is a twat. He brings nothing to the table but ugliness and hate. The only reason that his existence on the internet is noticed (and embraced *gag*) by anyone is just a reflection of the sad state of things in society, and proof that after 2 decades of all of these Leftist ideologies being shoved in your face in every facet of entertainment and education the people have finally had enough of it.
And I don't disagree with his assessment about the pronouns in such a high-profile game at all. But it's not what you say but how you say it. H is the type of mascot that will lose this game for everybody.
IMO, H is the top of the current crop of outrage culture "influencers" that needs to be ignored until he's back to stocking shelves and working on a dock where nobody except for his unfortunate co-workers needs to see him or be subjected to his constant cancerous complaining about everything. I don't want people like him to go away AFTER woke culture dies. He shouldn't have any influence over anybody current-day.
He's far from the only person I feel this way about, but he's the number one on my list. I had actually blocked him from ever even showing up in my YT feed at least 2 years ago because I couldn't stand listening to him and his opinions on anything. I'd almost entirely forgot about him until this conversation came up, and I was very disappointed to hear about how high-profile he'd gotten in just the last week.
