Also, I get KIKIs point, even if you don't. There is no vaccine in the world that will keep you from getting infected. By anything. Once you've been exposed to .. ANYTHING... whether it's whooping cough or chicken pox or Ebola ... the virus or bacterium or fungus is in your body. The only question is - how far does the disease progress, and how much damage will it do?

Take Ebola. There is a vaccine for it. It's only 70pct effective, and only for one strain. But nobody would argue that it isn't a vaccine, and - if you're in a situation where there's a good chance you'll get exposed to that strain ... nobody would hesitate to get vaccinated.

Unfortunately there was a widespread misunderstanding about what the vaccine would do, helped along by friendly government propaganda, that the vaccine would end transmission. If the government had not over-promised on the vaccine, there wouldn't be such blowback now.

That doesn't take away from the fact that it does prevent serious illness and death.

It also doesn't take away from the fact that there is no vaccine that is 100pct safe, and deciding to get vaccinated is a risk/risk judgement.

More honesty FROM BOTH SIDES would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I'm think anti-vaxxers might make something of this, but I note that - with the exception of CA - the states with the highest increases are low-vaccination states, and the states with the lowest increases are high-vaccination states, so something else is going on. Possibly these are young people who HAD Covid at one point, recovered, and then had a fatal complication. At some point, somebody is going to pick thru the data looking for "cause of death".

Why do we have to go online and order the testing kits?

You can send unsolicited mail-in-fraud ballots to every voter before the 2020 election, and the 3 stimulus checks got to almost every American citizen without a hiccup, but you can't use the tax database to just auto-mail the testing kits to every American?

Seems kind of foolish if the virus is as scary as you keep telling us it is.

Bummer. I was going to hold mine for a while and then sell it on ebay. They'd probably end up going for over $1k after they become scarce again.
