Top DeSantis Aide Hammers Team Trump After Admitting The 2020 Election Wasn’t Stolen: ‘A Huge Scam’
A top aid for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R) blasted the Trump camp for perpetrating “a huge scam” with its claims of overturning the 2020 election and the millions in donor funds it has generated, according to The Washington Post.
DeSantis spokeswoman Christina Pushaw took particular issue with reports that the Trump PAC has spent $40 million this year alone on the former president’s legal bills.
“In other words, MAGA grandmas were scammed — based on false promises from Trump campaign officials who admitted under oath, on video, that they knew the election couldn’t be overturned — out of their social security checks, in order to pay a billionaire’s legal bills?” Pushaw said over the weekend, according to journalist Aaron Blake.
Pushaw also recently tweeted, “A huge scam…Ponzi Scheme?” under a video of Trump aides admitting they knew the 2020 election had been lost but continued to lie about it while bringing in donor funds.

What DeSantis says often has nothing to do with the truth, like most polticians. He'll say whatever he thinks he needs to say to court campaign donors.
Right now DeSantis is firing his campaigners bc he's failing to overtake Trump and he's running out of money. That's bc people know he's just another establisment man. Running to the establishment is not gonna help him, unless he thinks he can persuade some rich pro-establishent donor that he's the best hope for a Trump alternate.

In 2020, Trump claimed he lost $15,825,345 and he wants a refund. That's really nice, but there is no proof, even if there is an attached schedule, that the numbers are true on Trump's tax returns. Trump did NOT sign the return where it says: "Under penalty of perjury I declare that I examined this return . . . " What is on the line where it says signature? Six asterisks! Trump did not sign it.

The lack of proof that Trump's numbers are the truth is the mountain of evidence against Trump. Trump can put any fake number he wants and does not go to jail automatically.
