A lethal U.S. drone strike in Afghanistan points to a new approach
A deadly U.S. drone strike in Afghanistan over the weekend offered several clues about what U.S. counterterrorism strategy is likely to look like in the future.
First, the target was al-Qaida's top leader, Ayman al-Zawahiri, a man the U.S. had pursued for more than two decades. The strike showed the U.S. could still track hard-to-find extremist leaders even if it takes a long time to find them.

Second, this was the first high-profile U.S. attack in Afghanistan since U.S. troops withdrew in August of last year. Such strikes are far less frequent than during the height of the U.S. wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, but they remain part of the arsenal.
Third, U.S. national security priorities have moved on after two years of wars against Islamist extremists. Russia's war in Ukraine is the most pressing concern at the moment, and China is the biggest challenge in the long term. But extremism remains a threat that will emerge periodically.

According to the FD-1023 form, the confidential human source said the Burisma executive discussed Hunter’s role on the board. The confidential human source questioned why the Burisma executive needed his or her advice in acquiring access to U.S. oil if he had Hunter Biden on the board. When, when comrade signym, when will you post proof? When will Hunter and his father be indicted? It's been six years and all the so-called witnesses are criminals themselves. Hell, there number one witness is on the run.
You've been telling anyone who will listen that this matters, not because you are biased but because he broke the law. Yet crickets from you when it comes to all the crimes Trump has committed.
That makes it obvious you don't care about the law. You only care about trolling. Hunter pled guilty to tax evasion and illegally owning a gun. The guy who testified about this to congress had to admit these charges are hardly ever brought against someone in the context they were brought against Hunter. This shows he only brought the charges because he felt pressure to do so.
