Not only are cigarettes being raised again, but vaping products (which currently have no Federal Taxes) will be taxed just as high as cigarettes. Pipe tobacco will see a 1,600% increase, making a 1 lb bag that currently costs $17 on average cost close to $60 on average.
This is going to be a MASSIVE increase of taxes on the poor to help fund a supremely fiscally irresponsible plan that is not supposed to raise taxes at all on the poor.
Sadly... this article doesn't say anything about the thread title. I was hoping there would be an update to that.
