Because Texas swung the 2016 election?
Here's a summary of the post, so no one has to bother reading it:
Texas
Trump
Texas republicans
Texas republicans
Texas republicans
Texas republicans
Texas republicans
If democrats* don't do any different, how are they any better?
And when Biden* fails to keep his promises - or even promote them - I'll be happy to laugh at his skinny saggy ass parading all over town in his New Clothes™.

Rand Paul accidentally blurted out why Republicans don't like increased voter turnout

Among the major issues for Paul is the fact that people are being mailed solicitations to file absentee ballots, which seems like a pretty reasonable idea if you believe that 1) increased voter participation is inherently good for democracy, and 2) limiting exposure to a deadly virus in the midst of a pandemic is inherently good for staying alive.
Paul, evidently, doesn't ascribe to either notion. He told Bartiromo that "I’m very, very concerned that if you solicit votes from typically non-voters, that you will affect and change the outcome."
---
Trump said basically the same thing.
In March, when the first conversations started around expanding mail voting due to the pandemic, Trump himself admitted that if democracy was stronger and voter turnout increases, then Republicans would struggle to win elections
"The things they had in there were crazy. They had things, levels of voting that if you ever agreed to, you would never have a Republican elected in this country again"

He repeated a few times that higher turnouts are bad for Republicans. By April, he finally understood in his big brain that he had to stop saying that democracy itself is bad for Republicans, and that's when he shifted to the BS "fraud" argument.
He's been saying the election was going to be a fraud since April, when it became clear to him that the turnout was going to be larger this year than ever before and there was nothing he could do to stop people from voting (not that he didn't try plenty).

Fox host: People who wear masks “treat it as a virtue signal that they're better, more scientific minded, smarter than you”

WILL CAIN (CO-HOST, Fox & Friends Weekend): You walk around in your daily life, how do people treat masks? They don't treat so much as a protective mechanism. They treat it as a virtue signal that they're better, more scientific minded, smarter than you. This is running rampant, and it really is the dividing line in our society now — the elites versus everyone else they view as the little people.
---
First of all, when anyone calls any compassionate or informed action "virtue signaling," they're a fascist stooge.
Fascists are narcissists, so they can't conceive of the idea that a person could care about anyone other than themselves. It just doesn't compute in their tiny, defective minds.
The stupid just oozes out of these trumptards. They are pathetic.

May I point out that Trump did very well among male Texans of all races, but particularly whites who aren't particularly educated and aren't particularly prosperous? Women who don't know their proper place irritates Texas Trump voters', both male and female, gallbladders.
