To make it clear, Trump wants the protestors dead because they are interfering with his reelection, but Trump also doesn't want to be heard giving the orders to kill them because that, too, would interfere with his reelection. Trump wants the governors to fall into line, do the dirty work for him, and save his campaign.

wait...what? riots...? what's going on? I've been self isolating like a good citizen so that nobody gets sick...I'm out here in the country on my dozen acres...enjoying steaks, ribs, chicken on the grill, fishing for large bsss on my pond, swimming in my heated pool since mid March, boating on the lake from a private marina membership launch, watching reruns of Firefly on my 9ft projection wall in the den, riding my ATVs on my trails through my woods and watching geese, ducks, and deer all having their new babies and loving the wonders of life...you mean to tell me that this is all a mirage?...that actually folks are wandering the city streets at all hours at night beatinng the crap out of each other, stealing booze and sneakers right before they torch the building, ...gosh, if i had known this was going to happen, I'd have added more popcorn to my freezer and closets full of food and supplies..oh, wait... I do have popcorn... yay!! can't wait to turn on the TV tonight..sounds like it'll be better than watching an old Walking Dead episode...we got the real thing right there on CNN...boom!!
