Hollywood should consider themselves lucky that the Coronavirus is giving them a temporary reprieve from their own repeated disasters. Maybe they'll come back with something worth watching. But I wouldn't hold my breath.

Heard the rumor that some movies, like Black Widow, may be rolled straight onto streaming service channels instead of coming to theatres.
Sucks, but then again, it may be the best way to stay afloat. There's certainly going to be a targeted, trapped audience. While I may not sub to D+, I'd certainly consider a 48 hour rental for $ 20 of a movie I'd easily have paid that much to watch in a theatre ( + drink and popcorn )

I'd be surprised if Black Widow went this route. That one seemed like a movie that people would actually go see.
I think Hollywood is going to have to do an inventory of what they have ready to release and take this as an opportunity to hedge their bets.
Streaming something like the new 007 movie would probably be a great idea. Anything they were worried about bombing in theaters because of the agenda now has a perfect outlet for the direct to home market.
We have no idea how long this is all going to last, but anything that stands to make a good buck in the theaters I would advise them to hold on to for at least a month or two before hastily just dumping it on streaming services.

That and liquor stores in P.A. are closed because they're state run...Philly may burn. People in P.A. who live near the N.Y. N.J. and W.V. boarders will have to go for a drive across state lines to buy in those states, but people in the center of the state (it's a big state) will have to stock up or go insane. Luck for me I live far from the P.A. state line so I won't have to worry about them hoarding all MY beer.

Update; People in P.A. can buy beer at supermarkets but they will not be able to buy the hard stuff because the stores are state run. A truck driver told me this and I checked the net.

My advise to them would be to figure that out quickly and get the hard liquor back on the shelves. From a guy who used to drink beer exclusively, I can tell you that if you can't get the delivery method that you want, you're not going to be happy with the one forced on you. It's probably twice as true if you're forced to drink beer when you're used to the hard stuff.
They're opening themselves up to a large underground market that may or may not be so easy to remove depending on how long it takes them to get things back to normal.
BTW... my old man is down by my bro right now and the small theater down there is still open.
It looks as though, at least so far, closing of theaters has been a voluntary thing. Even in Illinois where they have already closed all the bars and restaurants in the entire state. I guess the "Big Guys" decided they have enough money to weather the storm and figure that they're actually saving money in the long run with the amount of people they know damn well were going to sue them if they got the virus while watching a movie in one of their theaters.
