I just thought that the idea of The Real State of the Union (according to Vox) is hilarious.

Didn't see all of it, but what I did see was very impressive.

Trump truly at his finest.

Country is in good hands. Would be better if the Dems didn't act like sniveling little cunts. But they hate all that's good , so I guess it's expected.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured... but not everyone must prove they are a citizen

The real State of the Union is that we are teetering on a mound of unpayable debt, and our manufacturing sector and infrastructure have not been revived (and there's nothing Trump can do about it.)

I like that Trump has made a Big Deal about illegal immigrations. (BTW, if the 2019nCoV ever make it into our undocumented population and homeless it will spread like wildfire and there will be no stopping it.)

I like that he backed out of the TTP and TTIP. I appreciate that we are in no NEW wars, but do not appreciate that he can't seem to wind down the ones that we're in now.

I even like his "transactional" approach to other nations: The USA has been hemorrhaging money into every nation around the globe (like Ukraine, and Israel) and not getting anything in return. I think it's time to scrape off the barnacles and focus on us.

But there are big systemic problems (such as our public, trade, financial, corporate, and private debts) which need to be addressed.

I heard Fake News MSM say that this was Trump's 3rd SOTU Address.

Is that true?

If Trump's 1st was 28 Feb 2017.

Then 2018 Fake News MSM calls it his first.

I guess the first one doesn't count.

I also heard that Pelosi was charged with Comtempt of Congress for destroying governments documents (at the end of the speech). I don't see that on any of the scrubbed search engines, tho.

Madame Toussaint's House folk did an impressive job on Pelosi, it seemed. How many layers of wax were used? Or did she get a refresher skin stretching just before?

I don't think charging Pelosi for tearing up a speech is productive, nor is it the adult thing to do.

She threw a temper tantrum for the world to see. She should just be mocked and ridiculed for it. And people who voted for her should be ashamed.

In the same poll, some splinter group called "Democrats" had 94% respond that the address was negative.

Last night I stumbled across part of The Oscars.
Looks like North Viet Hero Jane Fonda might use the same surgeon as Stretch Pelosi. Only a few years older than Pelosi, she seemed able to act lucid for a few consecutive minutes.

Incumbent presidents lose reelection if economic growth dips below zero in either the election year or the year before.

Otherwise they win.

This rule has been 100 percent accurate for every incumbent since 1950.

Economic growth did not fall below zero last year and it is not going to fall below zero this year. This means that Donald Trump wins.
