With Wednesday Night added, the new total is $1,072,731,821

And now that we know Joker got an entire extra week in 72 theaters that went unreported until today, the new Joker BO is 1,073,747,331

Assuming Thursday's Episode 9 take Stateside to be around $35,000, that's
a whole $980,000 it's going to have to make to beat Joker before it leaves theaters.

And who knows? We might even get 1 more unexpected week of Joker in the theaters to slowly chip away at the gains.

Only time will tell if Disney lies about some magic money again to put it over the top, or if the film can somehow hobble across that finish line on its own.

My guess is a $150,000 take for Friday through Sunday night, and then an average of $20,000 per day during the week. With a high on Deal Tuesday evened out by a Thursday that's sub $20,000... In total, 1/4 of what it needs to make by next Thursday.

Once somebody at thenumbers figured out Joker was still in theaters it seems they're keeping up to date with it once again. Not sure yet if it's still going to be in the BO next week, but if it closed down last night that was a full 22 weeks.

That being said, it just bumped up to a pretty nice round number if it's over now.

Joker's current take: $1,073,750,538

Episode 9's current take: $1,072,763,023

For a difference of $987,515

Episode 9 pulled in $503,925 in Week 11, down from $762,516 in Week 10, which itself was down from $2,077,009 in Week 9.

If Disney doesn't pull any more shenanigans here, it looks like we've got a race folks.

If Episode 9 only loses another 34% next week like it did last week, it might have an easy time getting over the hump before being pulled. However, if it loses 63% like the week prior, it probably can't make it up.

UK and New Zealand are still the only two countries outside of the US to post new numbers since the 29th of February, so it's still hard to tell how much help if any it's really going to get internationally.

For comparison's sake, Weeks 9-12 for Joker went as follows:

WEEK 09: $2,528,476 -43% from previous week. (Around 450k more than Ep. 9)
WEEK 10: $1,468,751 -42% from previous week. (Around 800k more than Ep. 9)
WEEK 11: __$743,094 -49% from previous week. (Around 240k more than Ep. 9)
WEEK 12: __$266,462 -64% from previous week... we shall see

Joker took quite a hit from Week 11 to Week 12.

No doubt because Episode 9 came out that week and was busy making $177 Million at the Domestic Box Office.

It's giving a little bit of flare and excitement to the end of that puddle of blood and guts on the floor that used to be a horse that I've long since beaten to death.

Thinking the Wuhan death virus is gonna put a dent in the box office numbers , like MGM does? Switching the release date for 007 No Time To Die back to November was a curious move.

I'm not banking on it personally.

I think COVID is a convenient excuse for the movie industry. That's what they were blaming the BoP failure on, but Sonic came in well above expectations the following week.

We all know that the next 007 flick is a woke dumpster fire before it even comes out. Maybe they're doing re-shoots.

As for Episode 9, the weekly numbers are well under a million now. My guess for this week is around $300k-$320k. There's even a slight chance that it doesn't break six figures tonight.

Anybody who is still aching to see Episode 9 in week 12 probably wasn't going to be dissuaded by COVID.

Would you look at that... Disney fudging the numbers again.

Now it's at $1,073,629,813.

Hilarious, since it only pulled in $97,000 on Saturday and an expected $51,000 tonight. (Just as I predicted, a good chance that it wouldn't break six figures and exactly on track to make that $300-$320k figure for the week that I predicted as well).

But sure... That adds up to $810,000, right?

Fucking Democrats and their math.

UK still hasn't reported new numbers since the 4th. New Zealand hasn't reported new numbers since the 2nd. All other countries and territories have also not posted ANY new numbers since before the $4 Million was initially added out of thin air.

There is ZERO reason for this.

They added $4 million magically the other night. Then took $1 million away the very next night. And now they've added almost all of that back again.

Don't anybody believe Disney when they say that Episode 9 beat Joker in the Box Office.

They're full of shit.
