Their is no reason for the U.S. Consumer to pay the Tariffs, which take effect on China today. This has been proven recently when only 4 points were paid by the U.S., 21 points by China because China subsidizes product to such a large degree. Also, the Tariffs can be.....
....completely avoided if you by from a non-Tariffed Country, or you buy the product inside the USA (the best idea). That’s Zero Tariffs. Many Tariffed companies will be leaving China for Vietnam and other such countries in Asia. That’s why China wants to make a deal so badly!...
..There will be nobody left in China to do business with. Very bad for China, very good for USA! But China has taken so advantage of the U.S. for so many years, that they are way ahead (Our Presidents did not do the job). Therefore, China should not retaliate-will only get worse!

A very public plot to depose Trump:
Donald Trump will be denied the historic honour of addressing parliament during his state visit to the UK next month, government sources have confirmed.
In a major snub to the US President, lingering hopes of him delivering a speech to MPs and peers have been dashed following defiant opposition by Commons Speaker John Bercow, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and others.
Although Barack Obama made a landmark address in Westminster Hall in 2011, Trump will not be allowed the same privilege after the visit’s organisers decided to avoid a diplomatic row over his “racism and sexism”.

In 2016 Hillary and the DNC spent, oh, only about $1 Billion, that's Billion with a "B" dollars in tv ads spreading the same sad bullshit about Trump as all the Trump-deranged psycho leftists here have been doing ever since Trump beat her corrupt fat ass in an electoral runaway. Wait until Trump wins again in 2020. I think the whole fucking miserable lot will be ready to pull a Jonestown-type event to cope with it.

eta: So Hillary spent, ie. WASTED, a billion dollars. Trump spent about 1/10th of that. Think of what Hillary's $1 Billion could have been used better for, things like, oh let's see, helping kids with cancer, battered women's shelters, animal rescue efforts, etc. etc. At the very least she should have siphoned off some that cash for lipo or cool sculpting on her bronto-thighs.

None of his predecessors in Republican Party leadership engage in wild Trump-style tweeting, and few other people in GOP politics seem nearly as obsessed with cable news coverage. Trump evidently has a personal soft spot for Russian dictator Vladimir Putin that few Republican politicians share, and his approach to trade policy remains at odds with the bulk of the GOP and the business community.
The Charlottesville situation is, similarly, pretty unique to Trump. A fictional President Marco Rubio probably would not have been looked up to by white nationalists as a fellow traveler, and he certainly wouldn’t have drawn a moral equivalence between white nationalists and anti-racist counterprotesters.
Trump is also an outlier in the sense that he is not only credibly accused of a range of sexual assaults but was even caught on tape seeming to confess he had done so before. He is very unusual in the scope of his potential financial conflicts of interest in office and unprecedented among modern presidents in terms of the opacity of his financial arrangements.
The point, however, is that Republican politicians are broadly complicit in his sins. Republican politicians (again, the ones who aren't stupid) wish Trump would die and let Mike Pence move into the White House, but they cannot wish aloud or else the Republican voters will remove them. Converse with JewelStaiteFan, the Trump-lover, if you want a dumb-ass and, unsurprisingly, a Republican voter.
