Lots of sex and no STD? Sorry, I'll rephrase that since the Guild do seem to be aware of the need for health care in the sex industry. Why don't ordinary folks talk about STD?

Good questions. Hopefully, they'll be answered in the movies.

I'll add a few questions.

1. Why doesn't Simon's father help out his children?

When he picked up Simon in a blackout zone trying to talk to someone who could help River, daddy Tam must have known his daughter wasn't at a regular school. He commented that Simon wasn't going to distroy the Tam family but by leaving your daughter in the hands of Academy scientists, isn't it being destroyed already?

2. How is the Academy going to be destroyed? Or is it? What will happen to the other children there? Will they be able to be rehabilitated if the Academy is dismantled or will they have to be destroyed like Pit Bulls saved from a dog fighting ring?

3. Have other families tried to pull their children out? What happened to them?

4. How many individual and human rights do people in the Alliance have?
