On Thursday, President Trump announced that he is pardoning conservative pundit and author Dinesh D’Souza, who pled guilty in 2014 to violating campaign-finance laws. Unlike other presidents who used their pardon power to correct injustices, Trump has used it almost exclusively to dole out favors to the right wing.

That Trump decided to pardon D’Souza, one of the most despicable and poisonous figures in American public life, is further proof that this president spends a good deal of his time acting like a right-wing Internet troll whose greatest pleasure in life comes from finding ways to Trigger the Libs.

It's not what Soros "did" that's troubling; after all, most people don't have the strength of conviction to fight an overwhelmingly powerful entity, and sometimes the best that they can do is minimal, grudging participation. It's Soros' reaction that seems kinda creepy.

What I have been saying all along: STOP PAYING ATTENTION TO WHAT TRUMP SAYS.

It is NO MORE ACCURATE THAN WHAT OBAMA SAID, AND NO MORE ACCURATE THAN WHAT GWB SAID. The only difference is Obama was soothing and sleep-inducing and GWB wound you up and ready to go to war(!), but Trump makes your head explode. But at least you won't be asleep thru the Trump administration!

How can you, on the one hand, claim to tell me that the problem with America is its wealthy elite, quote me chapter and verse about Veblen and the evils of "renting money", and on the other hand believe that the man who spent his entire life running a currency hedge fund - generating no goods or services whatsoever but skimming billions of dollars from the financial system ... is some sort of saint who will reform the world?

Well, I guess it's the same kind of blindness that make you believe that if you're adamantly anti-Republican that somehow makes you a moral person. It's the same kind of blindness that makes you think that Soros will rid the world of despots while himself being a despot.

Come to think of it, he doesn't really mention any of the people who got screwed all that much, does he? Every post seems to be much more focused on those doing the screwing. Almost makes you wonder how much skin he has in that game.
