Have you looked at the shadowstats site?
I'm not yet convinced of the methodology, I haven't been able to access that part of his site. I'm worried that his process doesn't seem to have an avenue for correction if the stats drift off. For instance, the recent release of school cycle output, if the Unemployment was not really low, then businesses should have been able to fill many of their positions. But many businesses still cannot fill their jobs, simple non-skill positions, and this suggests the Unemployment level really is low.

Sadly, I'm pretty busy with my job and don't have the time to delve into things I'm interested in. So the short answer is no - I haven't gone into the depths of shadowstats.

With so many weeks of low Jobless Claim numbers, this has been resulting in improvements in the monthly Unemployment Rate, bucking historic trends.
This could portend really improved Unemployment Rate, and Labor Participant Rate for August, reporting on Friday.
Involuntary Part-time could drop to a level similar to January 2002.
