Quote:Look, 1kiki, it is https : https://themoscowproject.org/dossier/ The "s" in https means "secure". This is a typical deliberate misdirection. It is both not true and, if it were true, it would be a meaningless statement about Trump. Are you sure you are the same 1kiki from 2016, back when you were a Bernie supporter before you became a Trump person? Because you're not as good a troll as you were during the election.

So, aside from you being an ass, do you have a point of fact to make?
Well, for SURE you're an ass !!!
Quote:1kiki, that is stupid what you wrote. You got nothing. 1kiki, you are just a fucking nut. Or you are a Russian. But whatever you really are, you are not truthful.

Quote:That 97% doesn't cover the reality in Texas which is expressed with two numbers: 0% and 100%. I knew no Democrats in Texas (0.00%) that believed in WMD in Iraq. All who were familiar with Governor George Bush being a liar, disbelieved President Bush. All the Texas Republicans (100.0%) believed in WMD. There was many reasons to believe all Texas Republicans were delusional at the time:
97% of people 'believed' Iraq had WMDs. And how did that work out? As they say, a million flies eat shit.
That's the problem with assuming public opinion is reality. It isn't.

The democrats allowed Bush to go into Iraq because of a political gamble. Americans were pissed. They didn't want them angry at them. They chose wrong.

Even if every Democrat had voted No, the Iraq resolution still would have passed:

United States House of Representatives

I guess some Democrats decided that since the damn war was going to happen, they might as well get some credit for supporting it. They didn’t imagine that Bush would eventually lose the War. But what would you expect from an idiot and liar like Bush, other than a loss? What would you expect from an idiot and liar like Trump? An even bigger loss. There was an article written before the war explaining how it could go wrong:
The Fifty-First State?
www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2002/11/the-fifty-first-state/302
612/
Going to war with Iraq would mean shouldering all the responsibilities of an occupying power the moment victory was achieved. These would include running the economy, keeping domestic peace, and protecting Iraq's borders—and doing it all for years, or perhaps decades. Are we ready for this long-term relationship? Bush was NOT ready. He wasn't even ready to run Texas, even after two terms as Governor.

The Republicans allowed it too. They chose wrong also.
There was a time when the President didn't have the power to do that type of thing. Obama was supposed to change that. Bet you wish he had now that Trump is president.

Quote:No, I'm just pointing out your pervasive, blatant hypocrisy. And lying. You're willing enough to believe the Steele dossier when it comes to Trump. But can't credit the multiple statements in the very first pages of exact same document when it comes to the Russians having dirt on Hillary. Even though it's all there, in black and white, in the document BuzzFeed says is the entire Steele dossier, that it posted to the cloud, and linked for all to read.

So anyway ... anyone up for a rational, fact-based, and civil discussion about the topic?

Democrats were even more craven when it came to the US Patriot Act.
https://educate-yourself.org/cn/patriotact20012006senatevote.shtml
These are the 98 U.S. senators for voted in favor of the US Patriot Act of 2001 (Senator Landrieu (D-LA) did not vote) Senator Russ Feingold of Wisconsin was the only senator who voted against the Patriot Act on October 24, of 2001.

Democratic 145y 62n 4nv
Independent 1y 1n
