Quote:Trump’s Attorney General won’t try Hillary because he can't prove she is guilty, but as long as there is no trial Trump can continue to insinuate she is guilty. Even Trump’s people don’t believe what Trump said about Hillary. If they believed Trump was not a liar, they would go to trial.

Comey said that what she did was illegal... lol
They didn't put her on trial because she's Hillary, and the excuse was that they "believed that she didn't know what she was doing was illegal and they had no reason to believe that she did it with ill intent".
Maybe if you keep hearing that it will sink in.
It had nothing to do with Trump at all when it was happening.

“I was all set to terminate,” Trump said in an Oval Office interview Thursday night. “I looked forward to terminating. I was going to do it.”...At one point, he turned to Kushner, who was standing near his desk, and asked, “Was I ready to terminate NAFTA?”
“Yeah,” Kushner said, before explaining the case he made to the president: “I said, ‘Look, there’s plusses and minuses to doing it,’ and either way he would have ended up in a good place.”
Trump was all ready to pull the trigger, but then his advisors brought in a colorful map showing that lots of red states and counties would be harmed by pulling out of NAFTA. That is all it took for Trump to flip-flop on NAFTA, after years of him saying and doing the opposite. There is no equivalent explanation for Trump's flip-flop on appointing a special prosecutor for Hillary, either. Trump changed his mind for no goddamn reason at all.
But then when I think about it for 5 minutes, maybe NAFTA and Hillary were just tales told by Trump, "full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

I'm going to wait and see on the whole NAFTA issue. What I've heard so far is just as disappointing as Trumps other Hillary-like decisions he's made so far. There are plenty of articles you could have posted other than the one obviously written by a child though. I assume this story was handed to the editor, written in crayons.
There may be a link here as to why Hillary hasn't been prosecuted yet. We'll have to see about that one as well.
At least you and I are making progress here though. You're no longer claiming that Hillary didn't break the law, albeit allegedly unknowingly.

I want Trump to punish Hillary. He needs to punish her with a multiyear sentence to jail. A sentence of only a fine and community service would mean Trump failed to keep his campaign promise. I believe he will fail to convict her, but Trump should try with all his might because he promised.

How long are we waiting for Trump to make his move on his promises? These have a deadline in October 2020, the month before the next election. WWII was finished in less time and was bigger than all Trump’s promises put together. “All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them,” tweeted Trump. I want to see the courageous Trump, not the disorganized Trump making excuses.

I found a historic example of another procrastinator like Trump: President James Buchanan. He aspired to be a president who would rank in history with George Washington. His inability to address the sharply divided partisans with a unifying principle on the brink of the Civil War has led to his consistent ranking by historians as one of the worst presidents in American history. Historians who participated in a 2006 survey voted his failure to deal with secession the worst presidential mistake ever made. Buchanan's view was that secession was illegal, but that going to war to stop it was also illegal, and so he avoided responsibility.

I'm not surprised that they fell in love:
Trump invites Philippines' Duterte to the White House
www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-39762742
Filipino President Rodrigo Duterte (R), assisted by Special Assistant to the President Christopher Lawrence Go (L), speaking to US President Donald J. Trump during a phone call on the sidelines of the gala.
President Rodrigo Duterte spoke with Donald Trump on Saturday.
Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte has been invited to visit the White House following a "very friendly" telephone call with Donald Trump.
The two leaders discussed Mr Duterte's controversial war on drugs, which has left more than 7,000 people dead in under 12 months.
According to the White House, Mr Trump "enjoyed the conversation", and has extended an invitation - although a date has not yet been set.
The visit will be a chance "to discuss the importance of the United States-Philippines alliance, which is now heading in a very positive direction," a statement from the White House said. A meeting between Mr Duterte and Barack Obama was called off last year after he called the US president a "son of a whore".
Mr Duterte has faced international condemnation for his brutal crackdown on drugs in the Philippines.
Thousands of suspected drug dealers have been killed by police or vigilante groups, and tens of thousands more have been rounded up and arrested.
The president - who, like Mr Trump, was elected last year - has also said he would be happy to kill the country's millions of drug addicts. Perhaps Duterte will encourage Trump to kill millions of American addicts? Perhaps Trump will think it is an excellent idea. Obama declared Duterte had evil ambitions and was murdering Filipinos, which caused Duterte to tell Obama "go to hell". I can't see that happening to Trump.

LOL.... that's okay. Once again I'll take your dodging of the issue as your concession of the issue. This is becoming our regular thing here, isn't it Second?
NOTE TO FUTURE: Game. Set. Match.
The only thing I can say about your long thread dodging any acknowledgement that Hillary did break the law....
Yup. I'd like Trump to do at least a few of the things he promised on the campaign trail. It would be nice if for once in my life ANY politician did anything that they promised on the campaign trail.
Here's a homework project for you Second, since you like doing "research" so much.
How about you go back through every president in your lifetime and write up a list of all the failed campaign promises. I promise you that if you don't leave anything out it will end up being the longest post that was ever put on fireflyfans.net by a factor of three.
They're sure lucky they work in the Public Sector. If they worked in the Private Sector, not only would they all have been fired for incompetence, but they would have all been buried under class-action lawsuits for false advertising.

Quote:You got it backward. It is Trump who needs to prove the felonies in court since he is the one that said many times that Hillary is guilty of felonies (not trivial rule breaking and mishandling of unimportant and routine emails). If Trump won't bother to prove it (his Attorney General Jeff Sessions has all the resources in America to do that if he would only bother to do it) that is solid proof Trump was lying all along about Hillary. Hate to tell you this, but Trump is full of baloney.

Last night in Pennsylvania, Trump again promised to build the Texas/Mexico wall. That is no longer a worthless campaign pledge to be ignored, even by you. I want him to try his very hardest to finish the wall. I grow impatient waiting for him to do the work.

That's what you really think it was?
Care to try addressing the facts, again?
Or do you shoot nothing but blanks?
