Flim-flamming is an art form for Trump. He is quick and creative -- the Leonardo Da Vinci of flim-flam. It's an old-fashioned term, but it fits fast talking Trump.

“We’re getting fucking killed,” a Republican close to the White House told Politico, quoting Trump’s main concern. “He does make that comment literally every day.”

I don't see how the Fairness Doctrine would do what you want it to do. All of the Legacy Media shills for the Democrats 24/7 now anyway. Fox News doesn't count, because it could be argued both that they're anti-Trump, and for certain any drones that sit and watch it every day are hard core Republicans that would never vote the other way to save their life anyhow.
Other than them, pretty much everybody is Democrat all day long.
Could you explain to me how you think the Fairness Doctrine would help the Democrats chances in 2020 in the slightest? I don't think that they could possibly put any more pro Democrat stuff out there.

He is always claiming he is the best negotiator, but he is actually doing nothing, which should be an impeachable offense:

Already this year, the U.S. has withdrawn from the 1987 Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty, which obliged the U.S. and the Soviet Union to destroy all of their ground-launched ballistic and cruise missiles with flight ranges between 500 and 5,500 kilometers. Whereas previous administrations have largely sought to sustain arms control agreements, Trump has shown no affinity for international pacts. Having abandoned the Paris Agreement on climate change, the Iran nuclear agreement and the INF treaty, his string of broken legacy accords now appears likely to stretch further.

"The ball is now in the Americans' court," Interfax quotes the Russian Foreign Ministry's Vladimir Leontyev as telling reporters. "We are looking forward to their decision and to them saying who will represent them and when we can resume our discussions on strategic stability issues."
But the Trump administration shows little inclination to play ball. A senior White House official said in May that President Trump will not make a decision about extending the only remaining major nuclear accord with Russia until next year. The U.S. State Department has been without a top nuclear weapons negotiator since Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Andrea Thompson quit in September.
It may already be too late to work out an extension of New START. Russia's Foreign Ministry contends that with the time that remains before the treaty's Feb. 5, 2021, expiration, it will be impossible to complete a new document that could extend the arms pact.

I agree.
I also see that you don't disagree with my assessment of the Fairness Doctrine, or lack thereof either.
Democrats are on their way to losing even bigger this time, and it's because they're not learning from lessons of the past and focusing on all of the wrong things.
There's still time left. Build a platform.
But don't do Warren's M4A one, I guess. Everybody on the left and the right has slammed her for that and she's losing against Biden in every poll in the aggregate now.
Also, to note, the NYT just put out an article showing that she loses every battle ground state to Trump except for one. In the same poll, Bernie loses the battleground states to Trump as well. Laughably, they have Biden winning most of them, but that would change quickly when Trump destroys Biden on the debate stage.
