Continuation?

I loved the first five seasons of Buffy, and am currently happily watching Angel S1, but I was wondering, since I haven't really enjoyed an episode since "Once More, with Feeling," are there enough good stories from "As You Were" (the latest one I watched) to continue watching BtVS, or am I better off just watching Angel?

I actually liked Angel a bit more than Buffy, mainly because of its darker tone, but I still like Buffy a lot too. Every season had its ups and downs, but my recommendation is you have to watch it all.
