Three different Russian TV networks interview a guy in a Ukrainian hospital, injured in rioting in the town of Nikolayev, and tell three hilariously different stories about who he is, and his role in the crisis:

That'd only make sense if HE was the one giving 3 different version of interviews. I think the alternate stories are coming from the reporters, or their networks, and not the guy in hospital.

So, since Russian TV stations are apparently free to broadcast any number of ridiculous stories, it seems that they're not under the control of some all-powerful ministry?

At least in America, when the network Entertainment Divisions decide to all jump on the same Talking Points, they at least coordinate enough to tell the same story that the Democrats direct them to say.
