This was my fav trailer for the BDM. It was the first one I saw, and man, was I geeked up!
Lost track of how many times I watched it. I was a bit bummed to find out the soundtrack from the trailer wasn't included in the movie. The music from River's fight scene at the Maidenhead , in particular. Oh well.
( Dunno why they do that. About the same time, the movie Jarhead was being previewed. There was a song in that trailer which never made it to the soundtrack either. )

Dang it, Miker! You've gotten me all nostalgic.
I've been trying to find the original "Girl in a box" FOX promo but no luck so far. 
(it also used music (Smash Mouth's "Walkin on the Sun", IIRC) not heard in the show)
However, I did remember one other thing.
Did you know about the script for the unfilmed episode "Dead or Alive"?

There are so many great contributions from fans you can find in the Blue Sun Room. A couple of the promotional flyers that Auraptor posted were done by a woman named Susan Tomb, who went by the username of 11th Hour, who sadly passed away nearly three years ago. She did those to promote the movie in 2004-5. Some of her work was even accepted as official, gracing the cover of one of the Serenity role-playing books. I used to have several pages of her stuff bookmarked, but unless they've been archived the way someone else did for Lux Lucre's work, I guess they're unavailable now.
You can get several different officially licensed T-shirts from Think Geek or Stylin' Online, and probably QMX as well, and they have produced a lot of items like the maps, blueprints, maquette statues, and replicas of Serenity, Mal's gun, etc. Also, every once in a while, non-authorized fan art shows up on various T-shirt a day sites like TeeFury, RedBubble, Qwerty, etc. I have five of the official ones, four fan-made, plus two I did myself with iron-on transfers.
I've collected quite a few things over the years, at least one of which is likely not available anymore except on Ebay or a good comic shop. A company called Inkworks produced card sets for both Firefly and Serenity, which I lucked into complete sets at Apollo Con in 2006. I gave the Serenity set to my son and kept the Firefly one. It totals 72 cards, the first nine of which you can see below. Hopefully, by this time Saturday I will also have Nathan and Summer's autographs on their cards.

I'll admit I'm not the one to give pointers on searching this site, but I did track down something I was thinking of earlier. TenthCrewMember has done a lot of things over the years, like card games you can download. It is past the time of the year to mention this, but bookmark these two pages for use next Valentine's Day:
