Desperatly wishing I could get in on this. Sadly no. Home away from home (university home) has no DVD player...no cable either so I can't even watch Firefly on t.v. All I got is my t.v and VCR ...anyone want to send me tapes?

Earlier is ok by me! The only pre-requisite for being allowed to attend is that you like Firefly. Oh, I guess another would be that you have the ability to watch the DVD and chat at the same time, wouldn't it?
BTW---ANYONE!!! Do I play the DVD on the computer whilst I chat? Or do I hafta bring the TV and the DVD player into the computer room? Or do I run back and forth from the TV room to the computer room? Somebody HELP! I'm starting to have a virtual panic attack!

From what I have gathered, the chat thingy on this site doesn't work for (I think) Shiny. The PLAN is to do it on AIM. I am crabbycat23. I haven't clue one how to go about it, though, so any help you can give a (hopefully) fellowine club member, would be greatly appreciated!

The chat thing on this site has never worked for me either.
The best way I can see to go about this is for everyone to go online at the appointed time, then I'll just send out generic chat invite to all the firefly people on my buddylist. The only problem I see is that people have to be invited in, so its pretty critical that you get your screen name off to me so i can invite you in. This inviting thing also has a plus side, no disgruntaled fans can come along and go, "What the hell is this? Firefly sucks!"
Once everybody is in we can all start whatever episode we want to watch at about the same time.
Hows that sound?

Perhaps you should start a thread just for the screen names for the AIM viewing, to make it easier to locate them? Just a thought.
