The biggest story I think is the total unraveling of the Republican Party. It is now split into two camps and it is going to remain that way for some time to come. Republican voters have had enough of the lies.

The Tea Party has come home to root. Since day one they have called themselves the Tea Party and not the Republican party.

My point was they represented a chunk of Republicans that came together independent of the Republican leadership to form a movement within the party. That movement IS the undoing of the party.

The Republican party has been destroying the middle class since Reagan began breaking the backs of unions. I have to say with that and how successful they have been in redistricting, Yes. They have been stuck with appeasing the extreme element of their party for many years now.
