Ah, Inara.... the smile made of sunlight.

She's the second reason I wanted to watch Firefly besides the fact it has a cool looking ship.

Nandi. She is forthright and has a certain sensuality in her every movement that appeals to me. I also have a serious thing for redheads, and those green eyes are icing on a gorgeous cake. And that voice! That glorious, husky voice! Bone-melting.

Facts are stubborn things.

Truth be told she loved the captain no matter what.......malady or no, she loved the captain. There's something to be said about true love, like that which the both of them had for Serenity.

I fell in love with Inara in the pilot, the look she gives Mal just as he tells her to get in the shuttle when they were being chased by the Reavers said it all.

In the BDM, loved her painting the Serenity symbol on the ship. It showed her love for Serenity.

Well reasoned, green!

So Nandi wins...for tonight?

Do you think Inara would have eventually dropped the pretention in later seasons? If whatever malady she suffered from were removed, would her character have changed?

Ok, seriously guys. Inara is like a sister to me, mainly because of how I've come to admire her overall character. She is wise, womanly and of sound moral character always protective of her "children" (the crew) and willing to do whatever to ensure their safety. I have come to admire her as a family member.

Now, Nandi, on the other hand is a friend of the family, meaning Inara, and fair game.....plus that other stuff on being sexy. Inara is handsomely beautiful, as well as sexy, but Nandi is a screaming steaming pile of sex appeal trapped in a near perfect body - so we're talking about 2 different forms of appeal here.

I prefer the love of a good woman, Inara.

But Nandi: va, va, vavoom!

Pardon my crudeness!

Maybe it's something around the eyes or the mouth or the way she carries herself, but I literally can't take my eyes off her when she's on screen.
