We see 'militants', 'targets', 'civilians', but nary a word about radicalized muslims or jihadists.

Rappy's "point" - which he of course failed to make, as usual - seems to be that the media coverage is downplaying the religion of the alleged perpetrators (y'know, because when someone near ME gets killed, the first thing I need to know is the suspect's religion).
Few of us will ever forget where we were on the morning of 9/11, or the first question we all asked when hearing of the attack: "What religion were the attackers?"
Shall I start posting excerpts from the police blotter and the newspapers here in the U.S. where the Christianity of the perps is never mentioned? Would that prove to you that there's a christian right-wing bias in the news coverage of such crimes?

The officer involved in the shooting, Derrick Bowman, shot the suspect, 16, when he kicked open the back door of the Big Lots and pointed a revolver at officers. Chief Acevedo said the officer told the suspect to show his hands before the shooting.
"Every day in this city we have instances where officers can lawfully deploy deadly force and they don't and this is one, based on the totality of the circumstances, where the officer's hand was forced," said Acevedo.
According to Acevedo, Officer Bowman initially told officers he saw a muzzle flash and that the suspect fired at least two rounds.
Police said Friday afternoon that the gun in possession of the deceased teen was loaded with five rounds of .38-special ammunition.
Note how not once do they mention that the kid who was killed was a Christian. I think that tells you all you need to know about where the bias is in this country. [wink-wink]

Their should be a gay party. I'd go to the gay party. They would have better music and dancing, and probably more women. Double rainbows all the way, least in theory. Only, I'm not used to seeing gay people happy, which seems wrong. Isn't gay supposed to mean happy? I mean, if gay'ness was happiness I'd be gay'er than Liberace and Elton John on the same piano, but I can't play piano and I'm not gay, so where does that leave me?
In the minority I suppose, the happy but straight artist, which is about as successful as our current administration. Meaning of course, that good intentions do not always produce favorable results. Hey, that last sentence was almost relevant...
