I'm busy with a research project due in 2 months so the cat is not getting enough attention by his standards. He is currently standing right at the fence line between our yard and the neighbour's staring at their dog. He is doing this because the dog has an annoyingly noxious loud bark and he knows I'm gonna go out there and make him stop. I will be chased for my efforts or I might get wresteled...and he will obtain the attention he requires. also it gives me a break from writing

outstanding gif. Reminds me of the way my cat checks if it's cool to jump up on the bed. Little head pops up over the foot of the bed then retracts. Then comes a kitty bounding about a quarter of the way up the bed. Cats are too awesome.

At least he's not a smelly cat.... maybe your neighbor would let you tie a few bells and long featehrs to the dog...keep the cat entertained

smelly cat? sounds intriguing. The neighbours already think its funny that our cat sits just where the dog can see him but can't get him...the dog is sweet but on the silly side. (It's a kelpie a kind of cattle dog they are a bit ADHD). I guess they keep each other entertained with their antics. sometimes they just sit and stare at each other and other times they run up and down the fence line in a kind of race. Theo used to be unafraid of dogs until he had a bad experience with an ex neighbour's grumpy old blue heeler. The heeler got out one day and Theo who was only two at the time and fairly fearless, went up to see if he wanted to play. The dog grabbed him in his jaw and started to shake him. Luckily my Dad and the neighbour were there so they managed to get Theo loose but he is subsequently cautious of all canines now.
