I'm an atheist, and I don't care for ANY religion.
As a human being, and an American, I particularly don't care for radical Islam /Jihadist types. Those who cheered the collapse WTC towers and the deaths of 9/11, as well as all other acts of Islamic violence, as well as those who promote the idea that " we had it comin' , and got what we deserved ", sorry... you'll get no sympathy, tolerance or respect from me.
Imam Rauf has refused all attempts to find a more suitable place to build the Cordoba Mosqu.
Why?
It's clear that this structure will do everything but build the bridges that Rauf claims is its purpose.
This entire mess could be avoided, yet Rauf remains stubbornly deaf to the concerns and wishes of those who would have to live near Cordoba House, and to those who lost family and loved ones on that day in September. ( kinda like someone else we know, who won't comment on the " wisdom " to build the mosque or not )
Oh, and planned grand opening of this facility, shouldn't be a surprise to anyone....
