Yeah I heard about Legacy. I have my concerns but I'll give it a whirl. So far I'm trying to avoid any imagery from it - but it's so difficult these days to avoid hype.

Still on the plus side it has Jeff Bridges in it :D

Funny, I'd characterize Alien as a horror movie more than SF. The characters do that *DON'T DO THAT, STUPID!!!* thing a little too much for me.

It's a classic and has perhaps one of the best dialogue finalés out there... Well that and the original The Thing. Also that curious trumpet score is so unusual for it's time yet it fits the sentiment perfectly. Very impressed Sonisall likes it!

I think if you're going to count Superman as SciFi.... Alien is too.
