Hmm... well its been almost an hour in game time since Simon entered the engine room, but you're right, it would probably be less confusing if we try to keep the inteactions as chronological as possible.

Would Kaylee and Simon still be talking? Maybe they kissed and made up and lost track of time

Realistically, Damon wouldn't know that they are having a private moment. So I'll have him leave the tools just inside the door without disturbing them. Hope that's ok. I can edit it later of it causes problems.

It's been a bad day for MAL. A smart-mouth old man (who's always right), gunfights right outside the ramp, strange and often tore up hitchers, hold full of tequila drippings, uppity crew, the Doc going nutsy, the engine going off and on, Kaylee getting the vapours, crash landings, Niska escaping, Inara flirting with that gorram old man, Serenity Valley, more strange hitchers, the Alliance closing in, and Jayne tanked. Gunrunning never used to be this hard...or complicated.

Mal is about ready to resign as Captain, steal Thorne's observation craft, fly back to the Hera Carey bar, and take up serious drinking as a vocation.

You could re-create the flashback scene in Out of Gas when Mal goes to the engine room and finds Kaylee and Bester...ummm...occupied(?)

Geezer, how about you edit Mal's last post and have him holler for someone not being useful to get their sorry asses in the cargo hold? Then Damon can just leave the box in the hall and come down to help.

Ahhh! Zoe has finally moved! Sorry for the delay all... We just bought another house, and you know the other old saying, "The devil's in the details..." Well, suffice it to say we put that devil to bed, but it was time-consuming. Now, for more RP fun!
