well, to be fair, I have a cousin who is young and loves Shark Boy and Lava Girl, and Spy Kids, and he's more of the target demographic, so you can hardly blame Rodriguez for making kids films that kids enjoy.
As far as the others go, he made Planet Terror which I thought was great fun, although I suppose it depends on your view of it. He made Sin City which I thought was an excellent adaptation, he made From Dusk Til Dawn, which I thought was a great fun, very different, vampire flick. The El Mariachi trilogy (w Desperado and Once Upon a Time in Mexico) are good, unique, low budget action films.
It's all very well saying his kids films weren't great, but he HAS done a lot of fun films, and his style pretty much perfectly matches the Predator world.

The Faculty for me and I LOVE watching the Spy Kids films with my Nieces and Nephews. Sure they're for kids but there is a lot of imagination going on in them.

2nd Blu-Ray I bought was the first movie, lol. Silvestri's score in the first is sooo powerful. I could totally gear up with a gatling listening to that.
