RE: Anderson directing/destroying Buck Rogers- might just be Anderson's goofy style. We'll see.
I kinda liked the last AVP, low budget though it was, for its ATTEMPT to get back to brutal basics. For a no-money effort, I thought it more or less succeeded where Anderson's film failed so abysmally.
But now a REAL one!!!! WOOOHOOO!!!

Yeah, how could that go wrong? (Shark Girl and Lava Boy, Spy Kids 1 thru 100 or however many pieces of that dreck he did, Grind House/Planet Terror...)
Actually, the only thing of his I can find that I *liked* was Desperado. The Faculty was passable, and I have a soft spot for it 'cuz we printed the shirts for all the cast and crew (and where the hell ARE all my old Austin-based-movie shirts? We did "Hope Floats", "Dazed & Confused", "Suburbia", and a bunch of others, and I had shirts from all of 'em...)
But Rodriguez has gotten to be a nuisance in my book. I hear his name attached, and I think *less* of the project because of it.
