Yes it is.

The title of this thread is "Are Americans a Broken People?" In other threads, 6ix has claimed he is an American and a proud voter for Trump and Covid-19 has killed nobody. The truth that he actually believes any of those three things cannot be verified, but his claim that he knows Zipf's Law probably can be verified. Doing that might show whether or not if he is one of the "Broken People".

Zipf's Law is here: https://simple.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zipf%27s_law

It is simple to figure out what is the wiki definition of Zipf's Law. Figuring out what 6ix's definition is will be much harder because I believe 6ix's definition is only truly known to 6ix, which might suggest to you that 6ix is one of those "Broken People". To find a vague definition of "Broken People" you'd have to read the first few entries on page 1 of this very thread.

Most Americans think being poor means you're in a shanty with no TV, no phone, only a jar of pickles in the fridge... Because the reality of what poverty looks like might hit too close to home. So many Americans are one paycheck away from disaster. For even more Americans, disaster is only one extended illness away.

Because of Covid-19 restrictions, Australia has been labeled a “police state” by far-right American pundits who live in a country where police murdering people is so common, each month needs its own Wikipedia entry.

The talking heads, all living in the United States - a country where the incarceration rate is four times higher than Australia’s, and where 1 in every 150 citizens is in jail, the highest rate in the world - have criticised Australia’s approach to managing the COVID-19 pandemic, calling it “tyrannical” without even the slightest hint of irony.

Speaking from a place of assumed knowledge, the critics have stated that they “want to save Australians from its government’s oppressive coronavirus strategies”, suggesting they implement the United States model, which has resulted in a per capita death rate thirty five times higher than Australia’s.

Here you go, stupid.

It's a Power Law that applies to many things outside of language.

You wouldn't know that because you went to the University of Wikipedia and MotherJones.

That is not actually a power. This is what power looks like: In the thirty-seven industrialized countries that make up the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), on average, the top decile has about as much wealth as the bottom nine deciles put together. In the United States, the top decile has about four times as much wealth as the bottom nine. Owning four times more is what real power is about. Makes it easy to go for five times more, and six times more.

Done. The question has NOT changed: 6ix, what is the connection between Zipf's Law and "Are Americans a Broken People?" And don't give me this crap that the bearded lunatic in your video claims Zipf's Law says that rich Americans get richer and the poor Americans get poorer. That is NOT Zipf's Law. That's all the Republican Senators (and two Democrats) passing the laws that cause the rich Americans to get richer. At this very second, every Republican Senator (and two Democrats) are opposed to raising taxes on people with more than a $billion. That would be a law that STOPS the rich from growing richer and, instead, pays for the poor to grow richer.

That's your problem. Figure it out.

That's your biased interpretation of what's going on right now. But if you haven't noticed the major multi-national corporations have gone all in backing Democrats in the last decade. You ignore that because you're a hypocrite.

In any case, preferential attachments, in whatever flavor they come in, end up with the consolidation of power and resources in the hands of the few. This has happened in every single society in history, and will continue as long as humans are at the top of the food chain.

America is not unique in that respect at all.

So in answer to the OP thread title. Americans are not a broken people. At least not any more broken than any other people that ever have or ever will be.

Zipf's law says that the people with all the money should be paying all the taxes, but that's not how the sum of federal, state, local, sales, property and payroll tax burden is distributed in America. 6ix cannot see that because 6ix doesn't pay taxes, and neither does Trump, but 6ix's reason for not paying is not the same as Trump's reason. That makes neither of them hypocrites, but rather liars or cheaters or impoverished fools. In other words: Broken People.
