I haven't read any comics after Time of Your Life, but I feel that arc ruined it so thoroughly that it's going to stay that way, even if someone were to tell me whatever came after was the most brilliant thing in Buffy yet. I can't stand the direction it took, I thought it undermined what came before it, and I wish I could un-read it

Actually, I concur. Though I may check out subsequent stories. But that arc is for sale from my collection. I really hated it. And I loved season 6, so don't think that I hate dark or painful stuff.
