Poor, poor kitty. I think he hates me. :D
He peed in his home-made carrier on the way to the vet. He was super cat once inside the room an only got ornery when being poked/cut with very sharp objects...or having iodine solution squirted into the offending pocket of grossness.
I decided to leave him there for a few days as flushing the OPG 3x daily by myself didn't sound like fun...even after they trimmed his nails (can they trim teeth, too? I'm pretty worried about teeth along with the foots.).
It was weird/sad to come home to no kitteh. Watching the last disc of Tru Calling (interesting show...but didn't so much like Eliza Dushku) without kitteh sleeping on my lap was strange. I slept magnificently, however, because I didn't have to arrange myself around him. But the morning was sad again with no one to greet me or follow me around the house.

After watching some real snoozer movies, I'm sure someone out there will make a one about a sleepy super hero.

HUGS Rugbug I am sure kitty will be home soon and fine. I don't think they can file teeth like they do with the nails, but buy some tinned shrimps and trust me kitty will remember nothing bad
ooh there's a ponder. What prosaic ability do you have that could be a super power
Zeek has snore
I have cooking

This is what I fear when Kaylee's kidneys finally give up. Not having a kitty follow me everywhere will not be much fun.
You arrange yourself around your kitty? I just roll over and make Kaylee rearrange herself.
Are you watching first or second season of Tru Calling. I thought it started to get pretty good in the second season. Of course Fox canceled it before the episodes even started to air.

I do. Crazy, huh? I sleep in all kinds of distorted shapes so I don't disturb him. I'm such a sucker. (It's why I could never have a dog sleep on the bed...they'd take up the whole thing and I'd be left with one small corner)

Just watched the last disc of S2. I thought the premise got really interesting with the intro of the "Reaper". There were so many different twists to explore. I'm bummed that I don't get to see how many of the threads pan out (Jack, Mr. Davies, Jenson/fate, etc).
However, I was sooooo tired of ED by S2. She was pretty one note and annoying. I actually think she's shown so much more depth and ability in Dollhouse (although I know you don't like the show). I think if I had watched Tru Calling before Dollhouse I'd would have a different opinion of DH.

Hello Rugbug:
I don't believe they can trim a cat's teeth. I have seen vets do bunny rabbits and hamsters, but not cats or dogs. Rodents must have a different nerve system in their teeth.
I can well imagine how different your home must feel without your friend around. I would be lonely to. But it won't be long.

I did like Tru Calling, but I really think another actress could have done more with the roll. I think she was still developing and hadn't yet matured enough to really make it work
See you need multiple cats because they keep the other cat young and happy and you're never alone ( mind you , you have to face the evil glare if you take one away)

*small bump for the evening*
I didn't mind Tru Calling either. I haven't seen both seasons all the way through (I basically catch the re-runs on Sci Fi [I refuse to call it SyFy]) but I've caught enough of the series to like it. Kinda wish it hadn't been cancelled :\ especially when Davis starts alluding to her mother's mystery (though perhaps that's revealed in the eps I haven't seen)
Since we're on the subject, a Ponder: if Eliza Dushku didn't work for you in the role of Tru Davies, who do you think would have done better? Who would you have liked to see?

Which will undoubtedly precipitate the apocalypse.

Going for a ride.

I hope I'm not being really dense and intruding on some elaborate funnies I am too lowly to understand, but it could be because dog and cat teeth don't grow like rodent teeth do. It'd be about like trimming ours. yowch.
