I'm pretty sure Chris would not be that mean. Whoever they were, whether sockpuppet or just a jerk, whoever it was seemed to have some kind of vendetta against me, and a few others here. He/she/it would straight-up stalk people from thread to thread to make nasty remarks. And that name was tagged as offensive within the last year or so, I think, I get fuzzy on specific dates.
River6213 had at least one sockpuppet that was admitted to, right? I remember something like that. Was a rude and vitriolic sockpuppet, there may be something to Chris's theory about kaneman... unless it's all just to throw us off the scent.

But while we're at it, what about all the peeps who don't visit anymore? Geezer, for the most part. Finn. Succotash. Ghoulman. Citizen. I don't miss trolls, but it would be nice to have those guys back, much as I might have disagreed with some.

Considerations I've made, an abbreviated list, not accusations, just things that have crossed my mind:
1. PK might be a sock puppet, I don't know of whom.
2. Kathy, you can't be a sockpuppet, because you have a known human attached.
3. Sig I have often pondered as a possible sockpuppet of Rue
4. Participant, it has crossed my mind, could be a sockpuppet of Pirate News. The other Pirates are perhaps family members.
5. Wulf could be a sockpuppet of someone clever. He always brings up the same issues, a normal person wouldn't do that, unless they were just doing it to test the audience. My main suspect would be Frem, sorry, you just have more than a logical amount of patience with Wulf. I have seen pics of both of you.
6. Whozit was initially too incompetent to be the sockpuppet of Mike
7. Riverdancer might by River6213 as well. So many people have been. The fact is that River, when not ousted, is an interesting and insightful commentor. Admit it, we were all fooled by Riverlove for a long time. Kaneman less so. I personally found the original River6213's contributions very thought provoking, and miss them.
8. YinYang could also be...
9. common behaviors, as well as times of disappearance are give aways as well as knowledge base. Everyone thinks to fake voice, post a pick, take different positions, but they tend to fit the same psychological profile.
10. Mike, Frem, Byte, Niki, Rue, PN, are lowest on my list of "not a sockpuppet" followed by probably not Hero, O2tB, Geezer, HK.
Some other people are "probably not" but the weird affectation thing is an easy mislead.
Just some thoughts I've had as I read these posts, but I know a good linguistic analysis could catch a lot of people.
