A very good idea, Brez even said he wants revenge for Israel's bombing of USS Liberty

Brezinski is jewish I thought, which is independent from him being evil, but this sounds like a moronic idea, and not at all one he'd come up with. I wonder what his game is.

Is allowing airspace under your control to be crossed for an attack an act of war ?
or would denying same airspace to be crossed for a counter attack the act of war ???
Intercepting an Israeli attack, or even threatening to do so would be a VERY good idea.
All this crap about the US will stand with Israel without condition, and so forth.,, has killed any credibility the US has with any issue involving Israel.
In this case, where it is almost sure to start a shooting war the US is in no position to be in... now is the time to publicly rein in Israel.
Perhaps then leaning on then to sign the IAEA, would be a start.
Israel is probably even more of a problem in the region than Iran, and the possibility of peace in the middle east will remain unfulfilled until the problems related with their actions ( since 1947 anyway ) find some resolution.

From a foreign policy standpoint, it's brilliant. It allows the Obama administration the leeway to stand apart from Brzezinski, since he's not an official with the administration in any way, shape, or form - while at the same time it allows Obama to float this balloon to see how BOTH sides react to it. How will Israel take it, this notion that we don't automatically have their back, no matter what they do? And it can be seen as a subtle reaching out to Iran to try to further a substantive discussion and get back to some realy diplomacy with them, even while Ahmedinejad appears to be somewhat on the outs with the mullahs in the country, and definitely on the outs with most of the actual PEOPLE in the country.
Zbigs may be evil, but like Kissinger, that doesn't mean you should underestimate him.

Oh, I don't underestimate him. I would never call him a moron. I was actually doubting the legitimacy of the idea... ZB is definitely one of the arch globalists, I think I mentioned him as a possible successor to the world throne in my obit for Kristol. Yeah, I think that you're close, but I want to make one small mod:
It gives *Brezinski* the chance to float both ideas...
