What I find most amusing is that someone (and I won't name names freelancer) would feel it necessary to come to the "Buffyverse" section of a website and comment on the sad state of the lives of friendly, intelligent posters to said Buffyverse. I begrudge no one their opinion. Go ahead and think Buffy sucks if you must (troglodyte), but why waste your time coming to the Buffy board to comment on what losers we are.
A philosophical question: Who is the bigger loser: The person who enjoys a show enough to seek out others with similar ideas to discuss and debate the show, or the person who has nothing better to do then come into a (mostly) friendly debate and comment on the sex lives of the other posters?
But a more important question: If someone thinks that Buffy is such a terrible program, (poorly planned, poorly written, poorly acted) why oh why would you be waiting to see Firefly? Does said person not realize that it is being created/planned/written by Joss Whedon, none other than the culprit behind Buffy?
An intelligent person (as our new dear friend freelancer claims to be) would realize that spelling and grammar are important for clear communication, and would not mock someone who is smart enough to be able to turn a phrase as beautifully as Ms. Pandora.
Freelancer, I think it's wonderful that you have a job with a decent salary. But what decade is this that you feel the need to rely on your secretary for spelling corrections? Have you no understanding of the computer you use to post your attacks? Pandy needn't give you a spell checker. You have one at your fingertips. I would suggest that you take whatever you are paying your poor, bedraggled personal assistant and double it for putting up with a Neanderthal like yourself on a daily basis.
