I'll definitely check out some more eps... *zombie walk* I feel compelled to, must watch hulu...

Hulu is very dangerous indeed
And if you watch the adds (just search for them on the site, Seth Mcfarlane, Eliza, and Alec Baldwin all do them) it makes so much sence why you are compelled to watch. This last episode I felt was pretty solid. Even though they introduced her fairly quickly I really like Claudia, particularly her dynamic with Artie. Pete was great (and you're right, he does project a certain Fillion-esque delivery) and Myka is getting better. The one thing I've found annoying on a completely superficial level is the actress' obviously fake lips. They're just so obviously fake, and when they frame her face for close ups they're just... there...

Anybody else really enjoying Claudia? Today when i caught up on the episode on hulu I really loved the Artie/Claudia scenes. She's not an annoying teenager, and she actually kinda reminds me of the Scoobies.
There's a cookie obsession deeply rooted in this show. Pete doubling back to take all of the cookies? Myka harshly whispering not to take them all and Pete leaves just one behind? Priceless.

I actually like Claudia, too. It's better having someone for Artie to play off other than being the lone crazy guy in the Warehouse when everyone else is on mission.
And the cookie bit was priceless.

I see a lot of comparisons to X-Files and Fringe but there is another show which may have had a hand in this series' roots. Anyone remember Friday the 13th: the series? This show had absolutely nothing to do with the movies. It was centered on an antique store owned by an older man who sent his niece and nephew out to retrieve dangerous artifacts. Most of the items were cursed, or at the very least caused great mischief. The show was skewed towards the supernatural rather than pseudo science but the comparison is valid.
One thing I enjoy about Warehouse 13 is the use of old school high tech. It is so cool how all of the advanced technology comes in retro packaging.

I'm such a sci-fi junkie, I'm watching the new ep now. Anything to get a fix.

Thought I responded in this thread already, but I guess not.
I've been faithfully watching since the beginning. I like the Pete and Myka dynamic. Like the addition of Claudia (even though the introduction of a new character feels a bit too soon).
Personally, I thought the performance of the actor playing Pete in the most recent episode was pretty powerful when he was fighting the effects of the artifact.

Watched the episode last night and caught this humorous exchange (roughly paraphrased):
Myka - Having intel in the field is what keeps an agent alive and Artie acts like keeping us alive is not a priority. To him we're just . . .
Pete - Redshirts?
Myka - Yeah!
Pete - First, he doesn't think we're redshirts and second . . . it is so cool you knew what I meant.
I laughed out loud at that one . . . and then had to explain it to my wife. *sigh*

That part was awesome. I really like the Pete/Myka dynamic. They're like bickering siblings, it's great.
