Nicholas Brendon revealed he has signed onto Buffy for 3 more years (6+3=9), in other places on the web they are claiming 10, thinking 3 more after S7 but thats not what he said. Read the interview at YM.
This also confirms my spoilage that Xander would follow Dawn onto Dawn the Vampire Slayer for Season 8

I saw that article too. That rocks! Hopefully SMG will get on the bandwagon and sign up for a couple more seasons. But I'll be content with spin-offs if S7 is the end. Maybe they can bring her back in a few years as a mini-series or something (since SMG says she doesn't want to do a Buffy movie).

On a side note, I realized the other day that my Buffy obsession may be reaching mythic proportions. In a weeks time, I found myself reading Seventeen magazine and YM. Both of which I haven't read since I was 14. Why would I read magazines aimed at young teenage girls? because they had interviews with Buffy stars.

What are you going to do, walk behind me to death?

I dunno, I wonder if Brendon really has it together on the contract term thing. It's been widely reported that the other actors are on contracts that expire at the end of next season. Wouldn't make sense to renew just him.

I think he'd be the only one that wants to continue, after all, he said he would never want to leave there, while everyone else is itching to get out.
