Couldn't agree more, Zeek. And that's where the Buffy/Star Trek reboot comparisons break down - for the most part, the vast majority of the Trekkies ARE behind the Trek reboot.

Sure, now. Didya happen to see the constant whining over little details before then? This site was loaded with them (Wah, the ship looks different - it's gonna suck!!!), and actual Trek sites... whoah.
If it gets made, and it sucks, I'll skip it, or at the least tear it apart.
But if it's good? I'll enjoy it, plain and simple. Not going to hate on something just because it's not how I wanted to see it done.

Awww now, BSCM - this isn't the FIRST time we've agreed on something. Like Jongsy, you and I probably aren't even that far apart on how we view the world - it's just that you're looking from one side, and I'm looking from the other. It don't change what we're looking at; just how we see it.

Good point. Heck, I wish it WOULD be good. I wish it would be GREAT - it would just bring more people into the Whedonverse, and that's never a bad thing!
But the odds aren't great, is all I'm sayin'...
