Somethin' tells me the budget cut bodes ill. But maybe the money can go toward developing brain-stem regeneration practises for the FOXholes. Possible?

I like how Joss says that "we took their ideas for making it more conspiracy and thriller" and then the magazine guys get him to admit that was probably more HIS idea because Fox "wanted everything stand-alone and episodic at first."

I feel bad for him having to make nice with the Fox executives, it has to be infuriating at times. I was willing to try to give everyone involved some benefit of the doubt, despite what happened to Firefly, simply because I can't believe anyone in any business would intentionally sabotage themselves, or would last very long if they were completely incompetent.

But every time I hear something about the Fox executives, it kind of reinforces a negative viewpoint. And by negative viewpoint, I mean that I think Joss Whedon and his crew might be having to deal with a bunch of rhesus MONKEYS. I think there must be a real concern at Fox headquarters that these people will drown in their own drinking water if left unattended.
