Oh, and for those who don't know, if sometimes I come across as a dick, it's because sometimes I'm a dick. I think I put that out there on day one.
I like Chuck, but it's television, and I don't care for the medium. It's entertaining, at times it makes you laugh, at times it gets schmaltzy.
Every once in a while something rises above the standard assembled elements of awkward situations, setups and prefab storylines and delivers a unique vision. That's Firefly. When they don't, it can still be entertaining, that's Chuck. If they fail to be entertaining that's everything from Fringe on down to CSI Miami. (Is there a lower note? Am I missing something?)
