One of the reasons I love Chuck is because of the little Shout-outs it gives to us tv nerds like the one last night with guest star Scott Bakula. I know it's dumb and it's a line that may have been unintentional, but given the writers knack for just throwing stuff out there, you know it wasn't. Bakula, as Chuck and Ellie's dad, walks in and see's Ellie's reaction to his sudden appearance and he says . . . "Oh, boy." I loved it!

Like the episode where they've got to tangle with the Asian mafia and the boss's name? David Lo Pan . . . in a wheelchair . . . same actor as the character of the same name in Big Trouble in Little China. Or when Sarah's dad shows up. His name? Jack Burton (Another BTILC reference). Then the DeLorean and the General Lee in the same episode. Classic, classic stuff.

Zoe: "Get it running again."
Mal: "Yeah"
Zoe: "So not running now"
Mal: "Not so much"
- Out of Gas

CHUCK is nearly as awesome as Firefly. Well...maybe Buffy...

Chuck might not be the best show around, but it sure is the most fun to watch.

The okayness of Chuck. I agree with "fun to watch."
I think if there were no humor, there wouldn't be a thrilling story, and some of the character subplots annoy me in their friends-seinfeld 'people aren't really like this' way, but I enjoy it. It has guns and girls and gaffs, and who cares if it doesn't make a lick of sense, science or story.

I'll admit to being a fan too, even if it is a slightly guilty pleasure!

Since I seem to be physically incapable of refraining to mention all the stars I am seeing a week on Friday (going to the T1 convention!), can I casually ask if anyone here has any clever or insightful questions they would like to ask of the cast?! I'd be happy for ideas!
