prettyxpistol - I've gotta say I find that pretty disturbing.

Season 2 is one of the best seasons to me, and also to a lot of other people. Though season 1 doesn't measure up to a lot of other seasons, it still has some great dialogue and Joss moments you might miss on first watching.

For example, I didnt notice this line on first viewing.

Girl #1: The new kid? She seems kind of weird to me. What kind of
name is Buffy?

Girl #2: Hey, Aphrodisia!

Girl #1: Oh, Hey!

Which I only actually noticed when reading the script on the DVD, but anyway...

I think things picked up considerably in season 2. That was a fine effort! Does that sound condescending at all? Coz it wasn't meant to be...

Also, I liked season 6 the most of the last three seasons. I know a lot of people didn't like that season but I found it powerful because, despite the fact that all this stuff was happening at the same time, there really were moments of 'oh, I felt that'.

I like to view BtVS as a whole. Each season has its place and had value to me in some way.

Oh man if you're worried about the master being too much of a cliche horror movie villain then you'll be happy with the rest of the series I think. The rest of the big villains tend to turn things on their head more.

and OPTIMUS1998 just had to fix your spoiler fail:

The one? Buffy didn't fight Neo in the final season. Pretty sure his matrix version would kick her butt 10 times over.

Season 7 was The First. The First Evil. Now apologize to Chrisisall.
