I did read about her life. It was sad, with only a few sunny spots. She got very little from the pictures that launched a thousand fantasies.
She was also confused. For example, she died proud to have changed America's reaction to nudity in general, but lived most of the rest of her post-photo life as a conservative Christian.

Her career came to a quick and humiliating end when the defenders of 1950's rightousness determined her stuff was deviant and dangerous pornography. Fifty years later you can press a button and get barnyard orgy movies on your phone. You just can't stop that progress thing.
