For a relatively small population, you folk do right well in RTP - I wish we in San Jose were as successful. Good luck on your continuing efforts to sustain interest in the 'Verse.

That's why you're not comming?
Sadly, yes. "It's the last class of the semester, here's what's on the final..."
Also: The Colony's showing JCVD AND Synecdoche, NY?! I may have to schedule a double feature this weekend...

Synecdoche, NY is a wonderfully quirky, strangely unsettling movie. You will laugh, be confused and often times be downright perplexed.....but you will not be bored.
Happy Go Lucky, my son says its a good movie.
Don't know JCVD.
But Serenity.....enjoy guys. Gorram lucky ducks out there in Raleigh. On the Big Screen too!
(I won't feel so bad on Wednesday, I get my FF series in Blu-Ray - Happy, Happy - Joy, Joy - sorry could not be helped)
Tawabawho?

Quote:I know that class. It is a very important class! Your presence will be sorely missed, but then again there's always CSTS 2009 to look forward to.

Here are the plot summaries from imdb.com for the other two movies playing at The Colony this weekend:
JCVD:
Between his tax problems and his legal battle with his wife for the custody of his daughter, these are hard times for the action movie star who finds that even Steven Seagal has pinched a role from him! In JCVD, Jean-Claude Van Damme returns to the country of his birth to seek the peace and tranquility he can no longer enjoy in the United States.
Synecdoche, New York:
A theater director struggles with his work, and the women in his life, as he attempts to create a life-size replica of New York inside a warehouse as part of his new play.
Both movies are comedies, and they look interesting. I've never seen a Van Damme movie before because they've never appealed to me, but this one I would go see if I already didn't have other obligations this weekend. Self-deprecation is never lost on me.

And I'm very much looking to that! Especially since I couldn't make it this year.
